Will be my first time wheeling with them also. Just from my short time in here, already like them better then the other group I wheeled and rode with. Trying to convince a friend in his JKU to come to WF.

Got friday the second off and the ol'lady called off the 2nd and 3rd so pending my mother watching the two kiddo's she will be along for the ride
 
I am very sorry to say but the wife and I will not be making the trip down this year. This was one of the hardest decisions I have had to make in along time and it was a very tough one at that. I just don't think we can make everything work out to make it down safely. There is just to much to do and not enough to make things work. My van is in need of some work which cannot be put off anymore.

I still cannot believe I am typing this shit as I do it. For those who were expecting parts from me at Winterfest I believe I sent out PM's to those. If I forgot about someone, please let me know and we can work out something to get you the parts you had requested.

Everyone is going to be missed so much!!!! I am going to go and drown my self in as much beer as I can consume today. Have fun, wheel safe and take LOTS of pictures!!!!!! Miss you all!!!!!! :kissyou:
 
We are going to miss everyone so much also. It breaks my heart to say we are not coming, but reality set in and I just don't have the funds to fix the van properly or Jennies jeep to drive there. My DD grand cherokee might make it there but I am not taking that chance. God I need some bacon to go with this beer I am drowning myself in.
 
I,too, have a front seat available. I plan on lounging in the cherokee 'cause the truck sucks to sleep in so you'd have to have a tent or something. I can leave the back seat in the rig too for you and missus for trail riding.

I'm not hitting the hard stuff tho. Don't want to dent it :greensmok
 
Kim, if you want to come, I have a two room tent (I only need one side and with the divider, you have your own door) or even a small dome tent (big enough to sleep in, but not stand up in) that you can use.

That is a decent idea but a crowded idea. They are going to have enough stuff to haul. I will talk to Josh tomorrow.

I hate to even tell you since I know your disdain for this idea...lol. Meganne suggested a 2-place behind the camper. But yeah, I'll talk to you tomorrow.
 
That would be interesting. A 31ft camper with a 25ft trailer is not my idea of fun through Milwaukee and Chicago. I am not a truck driver. :D
 
Some friends tried that in a big camper towing a boat like that once. A cab driver rearended it so hard the motor and transom ended up on his car.
