Deer gawd, you're married?

please for the love of god tell me "no nude fabbing with PhatXJ"

I´ll help...

...with whatever. I can throw tools around.

Or I´ll just sit and guard your beer stash. That would be the safest for you and Cricket.

Hagen

sorry, I meant to break it to you in person..

I'm crushed. :(

Here I thought we were finally going to be able to consumate our internet relationship.

hagen.

you know my situation is all your fault!!!!!!

the only reason I'm so deep in projects is that I'm trying to get rid of the stiff cricket moniker!!!!!

you need to go on trail with mark hinkley

his jeep needs a name.

How much welding are you going to need done?

My old man own's a house in town and if I talk really nice maybe grovel a little (he doesn't drink so beer won't tempt him) he might be able to work something out with the renters to use their 220.

It would probably only work if you could have everything ready, go over and burn everything you can, then slip the renters something for power consumption. You could use Crash's machine or one of the 110 machines to tack everything together.

Also, he also has a 220V generator. It's a 4000 watt unit so it might not work real well.

I'll help out... I recall your offer for help tweezing on my bent receiver hitch at Tellico '00 when everyone else was in the cook & party mode.

Canned beer... :D Guinness Pub Cans works for me...I know you're allergic, but :dunno: it's worth a shot.

I'll bring my welder. We'll make it work somehow. I don't plan on doing any wrenchin' in Moab except for on your junk. That's why I'm delaying my departure for a day.

I've decided on leaving thursday no matter what.

did you get your hardware yet? Like, how screwed are you? i know you didn't get it when you were supposed to, just wondering how far those monkies pushed you back....

I just had another bright idea.

Why not make an adapter to go from a 110V plug to supply one leg of the 220. I'm sure with all the camp spots you should be able to find to seperate 110 circuts fairly close. You would need one cord for each leg. All of the spots I saw had 30 amp 110 plugs and had breakers at each spot.

Oh well, PM me if you need anything. I'll be leaving home on Friday and stopping buy the parents for the night. How much fab work actually needs completed? The plasma would probably fit in the belly of dad's motorhome. It run's on 110 or 220.

You right, Beez.

It is all my fault. I should have called it a " Stiff Hinkley"

Now beat up on me.

You still believe you can mke it with cans?

Detour through Salt Lake on the way??? (do you start out on I-80 anyway from Chicago?)..........Orton and I live next door and I'd bet he'd help you out. We could help you whip something up (and I do the 'cute' welds like your Mom....I'll just get parts and tools.....you too can do the work).....

So let me get this straight...Beezil is going to take his dismantled XJ to Moab to have fellow NAXJAers help him complete. This sounds great!...this lets those who are strangers to custom fabrication see how the "pros" do it. I think that this will wind up being a great NAXJA event. Beezil, thanks for volunteering to coordinate the "How to build a rock crawling champ XJ clinic". Better start working on your script ;)
