I only buy stuff for my jeep when I can't afford it if it's absolutely necessary to get me to/from work - and even then, I haven't had to dip into savings yet. The worst was the thousand dollars of parts and tools I needed to get some accident damage repaired last winter after my brake line exploded, but even so, $300 of that was sorely needed tools that I have used at least once a week since then (well, except for the HVLP spraygun set I guess.) ALL optional stuff - lift parts, bigger axles, etc is from my disposable income and I'm keeping it that way.
.. thus, no lockers for the next six months at least (longer if I end up buying a house after all) and it's staying the same height it is now, with the same size tires. I *might* do 33s if I can find a really, REALLY dirt cheap set on the classifieds here that brings cost of tires + upgrading to handle 33s below the cost of a set of 32s, but I do not see that happening.
