I think people should put some money on it or at least get a good bet going, pay up could be done at WF.

I personaly don't care who wins but I think the aints are gonna get owned, hope I am wrong and that its a good game.

Not so fast sparky. The last stat I saw in the game was that favre had ~45 dropbacks and ~25 knockdowns.

Brees had ~25 dropbacks and ~7 knockdowns.

That's not "no one talking about it", that's "doesn't exist".

The colts just played the best defense in the NFL and put up 30 points. What do you think they're going to do to the defense that gave up 28 to an old man and a butter fingers running back?

Favre did get put on his can quite a few times, but surprisingly, he just kept getting up! I think the roughing the passer call was a bit much. The way it looked to me was a textbook form tackle. He put his head to the side of Favre, wrapped up and broke down. He didn't lift him IMO. Favre was already leaning back and he made contact before the ball was out. He couldn't see the ball after that anyways. But, yeah, he did blow it with that interception. Peterson was playing like a rookie. It probably would have been a different story had they held on to the ball and not made such costly mistakes. I think this Super Bowl is gonna be high scoring. And yeah, last night was smash mouth. Looked to me like the score and OT were exactly what you would get out of a conference championship game.

No...but I do have center ice tickets in Tampa this week for the Lightning v Montreal hockey game. both teams suck...but the seats should be great. 20 rows up from both teams benches. pics later.

I do not follow football. Rev and I went to Naperville Central high school with Sean Payton, I did not even know he coached th Saints. The super bowl is more exciting now.
 
Been MIA as I was dog sitting at my cousins house. No internet either! Just thought I would say GO COLTS!!!! :D If the Saints play like that Next weekend, you guys are screwed Rob!

I work in Indiana and my other location is in Louisiana....so I hear about it ALL DAY!!!
 
Lots of people start believing their own press (look at the Ravens, then the Jets...). I'm thinking the Saints will play better (and harder) than they did against the Vikes. It should be a very good game -that Indy wins, of course. :)

Well, I guess a thread on a New Orleans/Indy game is a bad place to post then...
 
I can't believe this didn't get bumped up earlier. Anyway, I'd like to send my congratulations to everyone who was rooting for the Saints and my thanks for everyone rooting for the Colts. Rob, your boys played a pretty tough game. I think the officials could have done a better job, but you'll have that. At the end of every game, win or lose, you get coaches saying "we came to play" but not Sean Payton...he came to win. Hats off!
