who cares xj rear bumper mounts

Depending on the style your looking for, we can sell you a setup.

rearbracketkit.jpg

2 cross member plates
2 standoff tubes for the cross member plates to the bumper. (3")
2 uniframe tie-ins
2 tabs to tie bumper to the uniframe tie-ins

If your looking for all the same stuff we use (non tire carrier). I could get it all out to you for like $60 shipped today.
If your looking to build a carrier with the hinge on top, we have different length standoff for that, but that won't ship till tomorrow because we don't have anything on the shelf :)

If people are interested in this kind of thing (front and rear) we can put it on the website...

Why don't you post the pictures and details of your REAL fix for all of us to see. That way we all know what is the REAL way to do it.

WTF is a Lazer? Is that a brand name? :dunno:

LOL!!! :roflmao: But what a common mistake! As monkeyevil is pointing out, the correct spelling is laser. Its an acronym for Light Amplified by Source Emitted Radiation.

I'd be real interested to see those pics as well.......

dang I hope to be making a bumper next week... if I could get some pics of the best bumper made it would be great.
looking forward to these pics.

This is what I did-
4 x 6 inch (approx) piece of 1/4 inch plate with 25/32 inch holes including a notch to allow access to inside bottom of frame rail. Match-drilled it to the existing brackets. I used a 3" piece of 2x2 square tube to connect the plate to the bumper right above the notch for the frame rail.

That's scary. Someone needs to run that mount about 6" and 3 bolts further back along the frame, before attempting to use those D-Ring tabs on the front..
