should I check for a full width front 44 shaft? One of the shafts in the 44 I bought was jacked, so I need a new one and it's either find one cheap at a junkyard or buy 1 Warn shaft and then replace the rest later.

if it's a Chevy D44 (or same length shaft) Pick N Pull should have them cheap. Otherwise I dunno, just go down to that strip of Sunrise in Rancho Cordova and go to the major places.

It's a Ford 44 and I've heard that running a passenger side shaft on the driver's side (ie. Chevy short inner for Ford short inner) would be a bad idea. I've tried both the local pick'n'pulls and can't find a full width ford 44 (not that I'm suprised).
