Where were you.....

I was awaken by my mom saying that a plane crashed into the trade center. I was in my last year of flight school at Metro. When I saw the second plane hit I knew this was deliberate. I got to school and was watching the news with the head of the aviation dept. as United Airlines called and canceled our internships indefinitely. I remember the sick feeling of thinking about all those people in those towers, and the line around Buckley AFB of personnel waiting to report to post. The creepy feeling of not one aircraft contrail in the sky for days. I will never forget as many of you have not!

I was driving to work and on the raido they were talking about a plane that hit the tower. got to work and it was a JET totally changed the tune of what happened at that point. We had a few work stations with big screens we streamed the coverage then the second one hit. we all just in shock watched it outcome most of the morning then went home.

People who say this was a conspiracy can kiss my ASS! Seriously... F$#k you if you think that was an inside job.

i was at I-70 & chambers just getting my saws set up to start trimming a new house when one of my crew guys brought in a little b&w tv and said we were under attack... at first I thought he was on crack until he plugged inthe tv, and just a few minutes later we saw the 2nd plane hit what a crazy feeling... and pist!!!!!:flame:

I was at the Intel plant installing the new stepper/scanners as a Senior Field Servie Engineer. I get a page from the Wife telling me to find a TV or, hit the internet as the first aircraft had hit.

A Stepper/Scanner is the CNC machine that puts the teeny tiny images on the wafer in IC manufacturing. The Intel plant here bought 12 of them at an average price of $8 million.

Think of it as the worlds most expensive slide projector.

I was working at a paint store in Boulder at the time. One of our customers came in and told us what was going on, so I ran next door to the TV repair shop and asked if I could borrow a TV. We set it up on our stack of 5 gallon buckets and stood there and watched everything unfold. We had a crowd of people gathered inside the store watching TV with us....some people stayed for 2-3 hours just watching in disbelief and talking with others. I've never in my life seen so many grown men with tears in their eyes.

It was spooky driving home that night. Usually my commute home was stop and go, but that night, hardly any cars were on the road and no planes in the sky. When I got home ( I lived with my brother at the time ) he was sitting on the couch watching it on the news. We stayed up till about midnight watching the coverage.

I'll never forget that day as long as I live.
