so i know i need one after i lift or lower the truck... do i need one after i recenter the front axles (TB)? or do i just need to realign the steering wheel? the reason i ask is, are the alignments requirements different for a inverted y as opposed to inverted t. inverted t i don't need a toe end align after a lift right? i have a inverted y setup currently

yes, yes, stupid question!

I do it every time I do a really rough trail. Gojeep's webpage has a writeup on how to do your own alignment which can save you $$. I would recommend getting it done or doing it yourself often, at least once per year if you wheel it often. A little preventative maintenance goes a really long way.

i ask becuase, i just had my XJ aligned and like two days later recentered the front axle! Do i need a toe end alignement again?

If you re-centered the front axle, you'll need to center the wheel, but you shouldn't need to adjust the toe.........unless you made a very large adjustment that affected the angle of the drag link (on the inverted Y steering).
