When all the XJ's run out.. with you buy an FJ Cruiser?

Hopefully by the time my XJ/MJ wear out, a nice 4dr JK will be in my price range. From what I've seen they look like a cross between an XJ and a TJ, which is something I can live with.

yeah i wouldn't wan't anything to do with that unless it had a v8 either, too bulky. Jeep needs to give us a v8 again dammit. wtf we havn't had a jeep with a v8 since what the late 70's early 80's? I'm talken cj, yj, tj status not wagoneers er zj's.

We all got america's crave for power being americans n all, doesn't jeep realize this?

Well of course we all want V8s (and Diesels), blame the EPA, they say no-no to our thirst for large, over-powered vehicles.

Well, Cummins got 54 million to work on a super truck that can get 40mpg. Lets hope that pans out! Mainly because i want my job back! :D

a few years back i was looking at a jeep (wrangler "X" iirc) with a nice beefy hemi in it and sitting on 33's. brand new on the lot. oh and it had the 6 spd tranny too!

needless to say i was drooling.


as for retiring our 89 xj with well over 260k on it.... think by then i'll be able to do a complete built from the ground up.

Yea I saw that they got a boat load of cash for something. Lets just hope they think of a better name before it goes to market than the "super truck" :D

Oh i'm sure that was some kind media thing. They have cool ass name's for the prototype engines! :D
