What's your rig look like now?

 thanx-- they definitely make it easier to spot a front wheel if you need to, but more importantly, they let the local meth-heads get what they want without breaking any windows!

:bawl: its sad that is the real reason :roflmao:

Not long after I bought it in 2005. Only thing I had done to it at the time was Rusty's cat-back exhaust, a slightly better set of tires, and added OEM fogs. The fugly ZJ wheels were on it when I bought it:

As she sits now. RE 3.5" lift, 31's, still open/open. Recently retired from DD status, so more upgrades will be coming shortly, when (read: IF) funds allow:

Along about November of last year I was staring at a humongous pile of random parts and tires lying around in my back yard from previously parted out heeps and decided it's time to put together another camping/wheeling/expedition rig. I wanted something with a hard top, great drivetrain, super capable and streetable. I've built a few XJ's in the past, and really wanted to build another one. I found a bone stock '96 model for $1500 and brought it home with 145,048 miles on it when I parked it in the driveway. Before I could even put it all the way in park I started building on it. I would have taken pics of the stock form but I was to busy with the tear down. :viking:

Approximately 2 weeks after I parked it in the back yard I drove it out looking like this:

Since the initial build I've added a full internal cage, chopped the rear, locked the 9", rocker replacement, changed the hydro assist setup a little bit and built new shifters for the Dana 300.

9 months, a few minor adjustments, and 30+ wheeling trips later....

This, ladies and gentlemen, is Blue Boy. :greensmok

Andy, I just realized our DD's look quite a bit alike in the stock pics. Now I have some inspiration for her. I'm gonna replace the shocks/coils/leafs with OME just to bump it up a bit since the stock stuff is well beyond needing replaced.

did work over the weekend. now it looks......"better".

Lol. I noticed that 2 weeks ago when you posted up a picture and I said something about the lights on the front.
