I'm throwing around the idea to put the Comanche up for sale. I will most likely regret it, but at this time, i could use the money... I am currently unemployed and I haven't had much luck finding a job in my field, Biomedical Equipment. I do plan on keeping the ZJ, only because it wont sell for as much as the MJ. If I do sell it, I plan on getting back into an XJ when I can afford it. most likely a 1997+ 2 door 4.0 auto. It is a 91 with 4.0 ho with ax-15, and finding that setup, (even finding a 91-92) is getting pretty hard to do. let me know what you guys think..
heres the specs:
91 MJ, 97+ front end.
4.0ho from 94 Xj with 140,000. motor runs great, I use Rotella t6.
jeep has around 150,000. cluster was replaced by p.o. with a higher mileage unit (170,000).
browndog mm, 63mmtb, flowmaster, new cat.
clutch was replaced when engine was replaced. still feels strong
ax-15 that works great.
np231, no issues.
hp d30 (abs model) with lca skids, raised sway bar mounts, 4.88s..
d44 raised shock mounts, 4.88s with l.s., ruffstuff cover
hannemann fiberglass front and rear.
roll on bedliner in good shape.
36' radial tsls with less than 500miles on them. 350 a tire new. 15x10 black steel rims.
sleeved tierod, steering is fairly tight still.
Steering box brace
rustys long arms. procomp shocks-mid level-not to bad. 6-7" rustys springs. ext-brake lines, soa in rear with longer shackle, not sure if oem leafs or not.
jks sway bar discos
big drop pitman arm.
corbeau gt-7 seats, pretty nice for a jeep.
nice deck, crappy speakers.
new carpet kit and insulation.
bedliner material on center console, i like it.
no headliner.
nice custom rear bumper with receiver.
comes with a real nice set of tube doors.
I'm sure I'm missing some stuff.. I drive this thing almost everyday and take it up to around 60 with no problems. all ac stuff is there, just needs refill.
