What's my stroked XJ worth?

Nice jeep, I think thats the best starting platform you can get (2dr, 5spd, benefits of being newer, good color), but then again I would, cause that is identical to my jeep when I bought it, minus the stroker. Shes got a stroker now, a new ax-15, 4.5 lift and some 31's too.

My Hesco stroker w/aluminum head will just come out of the XJ when it crackes apart and go in some other Jeep.

As much as I hate to part with an engine I built myself, I don't foresee having a use for it in the future. My wife and I just bought a 2004 4.7L WJ, so going back to a 6 cylinder would be a step backwards. That's our primary tow vehicle, and we have 2 Saturns for fuel mileage. The stroker is staying in the XJ.

I snapped some pictures of the XJ today. It had 2 weeks worth of dust on it, so any dark spots underneath are just water from washing it. http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c288/jeepinwi/Jeep/

I did take the XJ on it's first offroading trip last week. My dog chased a rabbit about 1/2 mile down a field, so I had to go get her. It was a little muddy, but still didn't need 4wd. I know what you're thinking...pretty extreme offroading!

3 years ago I would have paid 4500. But what I was looking for was a 98+ 2dr 4.0 5spd,red or black, no rust. I only found one in 9 months. If I was looking again, I would pay somewhere in the high 3's for it.
