Whats in your junkyard?

Figured this may be a useful tool.

Did you go to the junkyard this weekend?

Find any goodies that the locals may be looking for?

Describe the vehicle and the condition of the part or post a picture if you can.

Are you willing to pull for someone or meet up with them to show them the find?

Or

I'm too busy this weekend and I cant make it to the local junkyard if anyone local is planning on going can you keep an eye out for _____ ?

I went to the most expensive pull a part I've been to. There is an 87 Cherokee with 112k, Trans, TC, D30, and D44. I considered getting them(Pueogot tranny however), but like over $600. Didn't sound like a good deal, other than the low miles. Location, Clarksville. TN. Looking to do 4x4 conversion on my Comanche.

Went to the pull a part at Owensboro KY, they had 2 possibly 3 Exploder 8.8 rearends and they charge 59.95 for rear axles.

Josh and I were out there last weekend...wasn't a whole lot worth being motivated for. One very sludged up 4.0 sitting on the ground in front of a ZJ....about the most excitement that day lol.

Was at the Pull-a-part in Lithonia GA not long ago, they have tons of XJ's and ZJ's with decent looking 4.0's in them. Many 8.25 rear ends. Tons of explorers with 8.8's. Many Fords with 9"s and tons of trucks with Dana 60's, a few with dana 70's, some Ford 10.25's, and some 14 bolts. I love this Pull-a-part, you pay the same for any axle, you pay for engines by the number of cylinders, and set rates are actually set rates.

Anyone around southern middle TN like the boro and maybe nashville PAP keep an eye out for a 97-02 durango with front and rear seats in good condition. Prefer heated/power but regular would be fine as well. Need to get some measurements of the total width of the rear bench and prices. Planning on using them if I can in my cheromanche.

Ghost.. Yes.. a 2wd MJ.. i called Lennie but he wasnt interested in it.. the rear tail gate was gone but the bed and cab were in decent shape..its white too

Went to Pap not much there a bunch of torn apart jeeps. There were a lot of V8 Zj's though to my surprise but most of them were torn up as well a lot of front ends gone. From the looks of things there will probably be a new stack in there soon, i would assume they will get rid of the torn apart junk and bring in new.

I think I saw an overhead console in a red 95 XJ at PAP not too long ago. It had the brackets and everything still in it.

December 4...

Just returned from the PAP in Nashville a few minutes ago.

They have a 1986 XJ Waggoneer Limited with a straight front axle (no vacuum disconnect) and factory 4.10 gears.

Someone grab it before it goes to the crusher!!!

i went there with bogonia and decided to look for a hood latch cable.

all of the jeeps that still had the cable in them, had the hoods removed. and he only reason the cable WAS still in there, is because in the process of removing the hood, they find it easier to cut the end of the hood cable off instead of twisting it and pulling it out...

morons...
