Well, since you can mate a Chevy 350 to the torque tube and use the stock transaxle in the 928, it may be possible to mate a standard tranny to the sexy motor.

I like them with the engines in the rear.

The front motor cars handle better. My 928 has almost a perfect 50/50 weight distribution. The 911's tend to step out in the rear if you corner too quickly. I do, however, wish that Porsche had never made the Panamera. It's about as big of a mistake as the Jeep Liberty was! (see, I brought it back to Jeeps...yay me!)
