what's fastest you went with a lift and tires?

Over 90 with 5+" lift and 33" tires with no issues whatsoever.

im pretty much all stock on some 235/75R15 Geolander AT's

All the creaks, rattles and drivetrain vibrations seem to disappear above 80 (XJ sound barrier?), so that´s where I usually drive it, with occasional runs to about a 100. about 1 1/2 of lift and 30 X 9.50. Ball joints are loose, drives with one finger. Have had it on runs of 120, but like to keep the RPM´s down for longevity reasons. No speed limits on the autobahn driving slower than 70, will get you run over by a truck or rear ended by a Smart.

my 91 laredo with 8" of lift and 33" mt's with no sway bars got to a little over 100mph, my ranger with 3" suspension and 33" mt's went right at 145mph.

when it was stock i got pulled over on I-27 doing 127mph

Did that in mine when it was stock, too. Didn't get pulled over though. Guy in the Benz I was racing around with (he was obviously afraid to really get into it) pulled up alongside me when we got off the freeway and said, 'WTF you got in there???' I told him it was stock except K&N air filter and Gibson cat-back. "My speedo only goes to like 90, how fast was I going?" 'I don't know, man...you pulled away from me at 120.'

Bear in mind I've been trained for that type of driving...and it was 3am, this guy alongside me was the only other one on the road at the time.

4.56's, 35" bias plys, 10" of lift and no swaybars... 92mph on flat ground when I ran out of traffic-free roadway. That was honestly scary as hell with the sidwalls flexing, the jeep feeling like it was on stilts, and the wind blowing me all over the road.

I've done 80 with 31's and 4.5" lift, NO SYE (yet). No problems experienced but steering gets a little touchy at that speed tho.

97mph according to GPS with 10" of lift and 35s

3" lift and 31" tires max'd out at 115mph. Things were shaking violently. Scary as hell.

On a 2" BB and stock 225 tires I got to 110 mph tracked by GPS, and I wasn't even maxed out, but with no tach I didn't want to push it too hard.

With 3" up front, 5" in back and 245/75 16 MT/Rs I've hit about 90...didn't feel safe at all. Now with some steering issues, 75 is about the max I'll go.

at 8" and 36's and NO sway bars, speed is scary. i'm usually the arsehole pooping along at 55 in the slow lane...

Have gone past the 85 mark on the 89 Xj pioneer spedomiter and it started to go back around. This was with 3 inches of lift and 31's That was my old xj my 99 with 4.5 inches of lift and 32"s has gone 100 but it sucks.

I had a old built XJ that the spedo toped out at 145mph yes MPH and I got it almost as fast as it would go on I80 in iowa. Ill try to find some pics and post them.

I did 104mph (GPS) in my 90 MJ with a 4.0, 3.07's and 225s. Had all the camping gear and a 2" lift in the front only. That was in 4th gear and its all she wanted to do.

With the lift and my winter tires (215's) and 4.10s it tops out closer to 95. Im guessing because it doesnt make much top end power at 3800rpm.

Havent tested with the 31s
