What's everybody doing today?

spent most of my waking hours unbolting the rusted and seized bolts on my leaf springs then when i finally got them out and was greasing up my new shackles. and gave up after fighting with more rusted bolts and the family.... but i did manage to ditch the rear swaybar, at least i got something done

Haysus,
A 1 year old thread, that's all we have to talk about?

Dude, I think I have been there once before. Do the tables have mosaic tiles on them and a fountain in the middle of the dining area?
....no. You're probably talking about Abuelo's, which is now closed.

they'll probably bring this back up next year around labor day.

Been trying to figure out why my brakes are now pulling the the left real hard after the XJ's first spring creek park run yesterday.
Note: following Roland is not always a good idea, even though his xj is basically stock.

You checked the lines?

You may have a caliper that siezed up. Mine did that a while back, ruined the rotor, and hub bearings, got really really hot. When I sprayed the wheel with water, it actually steamed off. Be careful if that is the case it can actually get hot enough to cause a fire.

Why didn't you say something about going out there... I live about 1 1/2 miles from there.

And you NEVER follow the guy who runs the park... bad idea. Ask about how "Tank Trap" got it's name.

lol

I would have mentioned it on here and tried to get a group together, since I've never been there before, but I was invited to go along as part of a group. One of my neighbors just finished building up a truggy, and this was its shakedown run. I went with him and his family, and some other neighbors. We ended up running trails with the guy who runs the park acting as trail leader, basically taking it pretty easy (for them) to make sure the truggy was going to behave. Nobody else felt like waiting around for pics, so I didn't get anything good.

I think my brakes just have some mud in them, it's acting more like the brake is adjusted wrong than like anything is actually broken.

Here's my XJ and his truggy at the rope swing.

Gotta love working on a holiday, its cool though its double time and a half!!!

Yet again, working the holidays this week, getting holiday pay for both xmas eve and day and working both days, so big money, but new tax bracket! damnit!

finishing painting a house in clinton and getting it ready for new carpet

Fixin to go to Galleria mall. Gotta shop for the lady.

Working today (if you wanna call it that). Things are always slow right before the holidays. No one wants to be moving during the holidays, so it is pretty much keeping up with maintenance issues. Pretty laid back. Only have a half day tomorrow, and then off Friday. Yay.

have tomorrow until the 6th off and headed up to Utah on saturday for some skiing!!

I just got into Miami. Now to go hang out with more cubans.
