What would cause this?

Any ideas what the heck would cause a throttle body to crack like THIS . It has been installed for a number of years and no problems to date. I'm guessing this is what was causing my misfiring problems that I posted HERE. Anyone?

JBWeld temporarily (while you wait for a replacement one) and see if that helps any. This will answer your question as well as give you some driveability in the meantime.
