OK, before I destroy something :( My 2000 Cherokee I bought diconnects for front swaybar. I know I don't really need a swaybar but I tow.

My question is the bottom bolt on the axle? Does it just pound / come out or is it threaded in? Mine are real rusty and even with PB blaster they don't budge. I have hit with hammer and tried to unscrew. I will continue with whichever is the process but don't want to destroy the mount.

Any thoughts or experience welcome I need to finish :(

Installed a new valve cover gasket, ran some atf through the throttle body, found an exhaust leak... Fixed the exhaust leak, cleaned my idle control valve thing and now she idles high

Edit: felpro reusable gasket ftw :)

Greased the idle control valve with dielectric grease, idles normal for now

If that di-electric grease is silicone based (and I think it is), you may have just given your O2 sensor a death sentence!!! O2 sensors to not like silicone, it ruins them!! Get it out fast! And you might still save the sensor.

Also dielectric grease will dry out and stall the IAC motor. Best lube for it is a light weight vacuum pump oil, or a good synthetic oil like Mobil 1, 10W30.

Hmmm odd, i figured it acted similar to a cd drive with a worm gear kinda sorta. I'll clean it up tomorrow, and i didn't use it on the o2 sensor, haven't messed with that yet. I do need a new one though, I'm hoping its still the factory o2 sensor, if so i can still collect the recall they put out for it in 94 since it was never fixed

The problem is heat and vacuum dries it out. CD drive is not sitting on a hot fire breathing air sucking beast, LOL.

The other problem is any that comes loose over time can reach the O2 sensor.
