What was done to YOUR rig(XJ/MJ) today MECHANICALY????

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

I look at it as I walk passed it in the garage. That's about it.

Oh, I took the battery out of it a few weeks ago to use in the FSJ. I think I even posted up about that!

Why would I do anything to it when it's just going to sit in the garage for months?

of course the actual light bar isnt going to be so angle cardboardy. and im going to use some normal gutter mounts like you would on a roof rack, and on the stabilizer bar that mounted to cross bar via cheop heim or something

I would just pimp it like it is with the cardboard light bar.

put your tire back on and try that. They may be right where you want them so that the tire doesn't rub.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

And take that dam rear sway bar off. Removing it will help with rear articulation and you will probably never even know it was gone, I didn't when I removed mine anyways.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

x2 on removing the rear swaybar. I went to a local empty parking lot and did a couple donuts before and after I removed mine, and there was no noticable difference. Same with highway driving, in fact I thinks it actually helped a little with traction.

in due time. probably going to happen this weekend, along wiht my lift

ive been eyeing that since i saw the prototype they had at winterfest in 2007-its a nice light bar but even better looking in person

well i have been talking to brian about making a light bar rather then the rack. be cause my hella 700's wont fit on the rack and i want the lights as far forward as i can run them.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

Fixed my rear hatch so now it opens... I only have one issue now, after I got it fixed I have a part left over and have no clue where it goes....

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

How long have you had that jeep? I was just wondering because if you only have one spare part left, then you are doing pretty good! I have tons of junk laying around.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

Evacuated the AC system and charged it up. I have AC AGAIN!

Lets see how long it lasts this time...

Well I have had it 3 or 4 months now.... I think? I have more than one spare part laying around all over the place. Fender Flares are in the shed, window regulators on the front porch, track bar and mount (Old and New) on side of house, stock upper and lower control arms on side of house, skid plate on front porch, stock cross member on side of house, and now this new spare part in my passenger door pocket (i think it has something to do with the hatch not staying locked)

In the spare parts bucket?

As you can see from the first quote in this reply I don't have a spare parts bucket... I scatter shit all over the place.:roflmao:

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

Take a picture of it and post it. I have replaced my hatch too. I had parts left over but they were parts I didn't need anymore.
