T3hk1w1 dropped by the south east side of Houston to see how we use to troubleshoot problems in the dark ages, LOL.
We found his mysterious no OBD-II code, 2000, new engine, new sensors, poor gas mileage gremlin with trusty ancient analog volt-ohm multimeter.

Spent the rest of the day having fun examining the remains of the cooling system guts of a Grand Pri that must have been run with water for coolant for years. Early evidence of a problem was an idiot light that said low coolant level. Oh, and the girl had just bought the car from a dealer 2 days ago.
So I get suspicious when I see the coolant overllow bottle is full, in fact way over filled (open system)! I pull the radiator cap (with difficulty) and find the lower plate an top plate seal area filed with solid rust muck. I mean SOLID boys and girls!
Radiator was about 2/3 filled with water. Oh, and it was not overheating. Hoses had a solid layer of rock hard rust coated on the rubber which made the hoses hard as a rock if you tried to squeeze them. Thermostat was stuck open.

What was amazing it was not overheating!

Well since I just bought it yesterday, I took the Alpine out of my old car and put it in the XJ, also slapped on the back a "Peace the Old Fashioned Way" sticker on the lower left corner of the rear window. Thats it for now, next will be tint

I scrubbed a section of it today. lol. I have one white fender and the rest covered in mud.

Backed it out of the garage. Parked it in the yard. Then put it back in the garage.

Mine is parked in the back yard, hasn't moved in over a week. Will probably be picking up a car hauler trailer tuesday or wednesday, and then I will move it onto the trailer. LOL

i bought 2 sets of hella 700FF's for my jeep. then i got chewed out about how my jeep isnt made for 4wheeling.... no chit i havent been able to lay a wrench to it yet :twak:

I looked at mine in the garage with the hood up and sighed. I did talk to Flores about a 2.8L he pulled.... He said that the air induction pipes were crushed, but did offer to sell Midian or I a 700R for our XJ's.

they actually think i spend too much time "obsessing" about jeeps. idk something about me enjoying getting dirty under vehicles is just too different for there blood. i bet they would disown me if i got a job at like 4WP or something

I can honestly and happily say that I've never been under a Jeep or any vehicle for that matter, with TOI....nor have I gotten dirty with him.
