They are officially used now..... this was my first run out with them, and I put a dent in the passenger rear one on my flop. It is more like a tiny bow in them, not noticeable to the eye, but you can rub your hand along it and feel it. LOL I can't remove them now though, or I will have even more holes exposed on the side of my XJ. LOL Dude JCR has a set out now, that barely cost half of what the THOR guards cost.

My buddy Heath is the brains of the operation. I can weld and cut and so on, but he is what I would call a "Master fabricator". He has the skills, and I am hoping to learn from him. BTW he is working on a sic buggy. Pics of the buggy to come.

Looks a little different now. It is actually sitting on its own suspension now. Gonna be a BA rig once he gets done with it. He started it from scratch.

Yeah he was going for a Rat Rod Rock Crawler look. I dig the hell out of it. Its not that far from done now, but those are the most recent pics he has of it.

He is adding a "hood" over the engine, has already hammered out a custom hood scoop for it as well. Otherwise I don't think he plans on running body panels. But I am not for sure. Probably before christmas he will be stripping it back down to the frame to have it coated.

Went to the PickNPull and got window weather stripping and some Wagoneer taillights. All installed already.
Its the PickNPull in Dallas. Has a few explorer with 8.8s with disks and quite a bit of cherokees. And about 5+ later model XJs (+97s).
