Replaced my front shocks tonight. Now I've got 5100's front and rear.

New front shock vs old front shock. The front seems to be sitting higher- I think the old shocks were acting as limiting straps. Rides a ton better.

Drivers door speaker fixed.

Drivers door lock still acting up. Wiring looked fine. I guess its the switch.

And windshield replaced.

Saw ^^^ this guy on my way to get my tires rotated.

Was wondering who it was. I was on the way to get the windshield replaced.

Good seeing you. I've seen the rig on the road before, but normally I'm in my DD.

Finnnnaaaaaaaallllllyyy swapped to rear discs. Replaced nose pinion bearing got the billiondith time. I really need to swap out my leafs so that the nose of the onion is pointed so skyward.

Changing my radiator because there is always a bunch of rusty looking gunk in the neck. Was afraid some of the tubes might be plugged. Got the old one out. The antifreeze was basically rust colored. Where some of it spilled and dried on the driveway, it left a brown residue behind. Nasty.

Decided I needed to flush the block before putting the new radiator in, so the rest of the daylight hours were spent getting the stuff needed to flush the rest of the so-called coolant out of there. Too lazy to get restarted on it when I got back; I hate working in the dark if I don't have too. Guess I'll finish it all up next weekend.

What did you use to swap to disks Will? theres some KJs at the yard and I keep thinking about picking up the whole complete rear brake setup, I just havent had problems with the drums

Hows the stopping now? Curious to see how much of a difference it makes on 35s.

It's hard to quantify it as a percentage but I can tell for sure. Keep in mind that I hadn't driven the jeep for a month or two prior with the pinion bearing having gone bad again. I definitely like it and we'll see how it improves over time and I gain the "feel for it". I've already done the master cylinder orifice change as well.

I need to still do the parking brakes. My dad and I were playing around with modifying the stock cables as I've heard people have done but I can't find a write-up on it.

I think everybody knows my opinion of w j brakes if you're gonna be in the money on that go with a 44 if you're gonna do a 44 why not go tons. Screw it just go with rockwells.
