What was done to YOUR rig(XJ/MJ) today MECHANICALY????

Got the hatch shocks in and the injector sleeve on

Replaced the reverse lamp switch. Still no reverse lights.

Plasti dipped the rockers and flares and rear bumper.

If I could get my ass up early on a Saturday I'd get the windshield replaced.

Lit it on fire :smsoap:

Well actually just caught some of the undercoating and seam sealer on fire with the welder, apparently they don't burn bright enough to see the flames through a welding hood. Extended my Ruff Stuff chassis stiffeners into the front fender wells with a T&T kit.

i looked at it, almost hoped in it to run to lowe's for toilet parts. i decided to take my subaru instead. I'm getting excited, ready to swap my comanche and have another 4x4.

Drove mine to Oreillys for stuff to change the oil in my Subaru. Hopefully I'll be able to find another 8.25 this weekend to slap in.

Got the reverse lights working

Dipped the front bumper- now all the lower stuff is black.

On tomorrow's agenda is hooking up the new temp/compass rearview mirror and maybe replacing the windshield if I get up early enough to get to the shop.

Took some pics with the dipped bumpers and lower panels

Installed the Gentex mirror only to find the one I have doesn't work.

Went to the junkyard to find another 29 spline 8.25. Only late model XJ was in a big ass puddle, but was a blue two door. Didn't grab it. Think I found another 8.25 on CL for $95. We'll find out tomorrow.

Which yard? Same blue as mine?

Pick N Pull in Dallas off of Walton Walker. Yep! 2WD.

The first cage is the best.

Dropped off old tires and wheels at 4wheel parts to have my new 35s put on, all and all not impressed with them, whatever I saved on their tire price I lost on their mounting price, but you cannot get road hazard unless they mount them...

found out my mirror does work, just picked a loser on the fuse panel.

Gentex mirror installed.
