What was done to YOUR rig(XJ/MJ) today MECHANICALY????

Front bump stops/soft balls are in.

Tomorrow I'll be doing the front ujoints and checking out dat ass.

I'd say those pics in the CL ad are pretty much FAKE!!!!

My thought too

But they had a phone # and I didn't get an email back saying it was overseas and to wire them money so yeah

Still waiting on brake lines.

Everybody knows that softball bumpstops are where it's at. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to make football bumpstops for the rear stay in place.

Put new ujoints in the front axle shafts. Checked rear diff.

Slight gash on the ring gear though. Not sure if that should be concerning or not? Could this be causing my slight thunking noise (kind of like a bad ujoint sound)?

Fluid had metal flakes in it.

Also check out that new rear bump stop. :)

Finally put together front shaft last night and installed new axle yoke. No longer a poser as I drove to work today with 2 driveshafts in my heep. Also cleaned out the rig a little and started throwing camping stuff in. Replaced auxillary cable with a longer one so I can be a little more careful about where my new iphone 6 plus sits when plugged in since it won't fit in the damn cup holder.

Put the jeep back together after swapping ujoints in the front axle shafts. They weren't bad, but I figured Id do them before Hidden Falls juuuuust in case. Replaced them around 5 years ago and wanted to be sure they couldn't decide to ruin my weekend.

Put the rear diff cover back on and tossed in new gear fluid.

Changed the oil and filter.

Filled her up with gas.

Took it to the car wash.

211k miles and ready for Hidden Falls.

Cleaning out the interior tomorrow and checking TCase fluid. But should be ready to rock.

OK besides DEAVER's what leaf packs are recommended? Is there anyplace in Dallas, Austin or San Antonio I can buy them? I know I can probably get new Ubolts at NAPA for a D44 what else may be recommended?

Oh and what about shackle re-locator and replacement shackles? Heck it there some sort of package out there?

I use the rough county relocaters and like them. Also have rough county shackles cause they were cheap and I figure you cannot mess up shackles. I know autozone and O'Reilly didn't have u bolts wtf, but napa may. I have heard good things about old man emo, I think Will had them. Just remember shackles and relocaters will give you 2-3 inches so you many not want the standard 4.5in leaf pack.

I have not had good luck with Old Man Emu leaf packs. I'm on my second set and they don't look good. And you know how little I wheel.

HDO has no-lift relocators. You can factor that in if you want.

FINALLY replaced all the O-rings in the oil filter adapter :) was actually easier then expected. I had the torx tool and it helped a lot. They were not broken but had turned into like HARD PLASTIC I guess maybe from the heat? They broke taking them off.

Can't tell if excess oil but still have a few drops on the floor... guess maybe rear seal next :(

Did these years ago and found it easy as well

Well Will, come on up and assist ;) I've never done one on the Jeep :(

Patrick I will check closer and be sure... I hope it's the valve cover :)

Got drunk and replaced my radiator Saturday night. Only had a few bolts and nuts left over too.
