wow, i never realized how messed up my bed caps are. my tail lights dont fit worth shit. i guess that means i need to either buy another MJ, or keep an eye out for another long bed.

just my luck, i find a fiberglass bedside to match my front fenders and they are in short bed flavor...

now i have to find a swb mj to measure and figure out if i can cut and stretch the bedsides to fit on my jeep.

Anyone ever had to fix a Renix era (GM) hard to turn ignition switch that was not the lock, not the ign switch, not the steel rod at the Ign switch, not the ussual known suspects, but deeper in the column, like a flat gear rack something deep in the column between the lock housing and the ign switch?

Did some fiberglassing on my hanneman fenders. And bought and wired up a cheap radio, which lead to my discovery of my mystery power cut at the radio.

Replaced the ign switch on the 89 XJ (daughters) A/C blower was cutting out, switch was going bad. Last one lasted about 3-5 years I guess. The notorious overloaded brown wire.... Battery was 2 weeks ago, the renix grounds about 4-5 weeks ago. Same rig.

Tree branch fell Saturday, wiped out the Saturn Windshield :bawl:
Need to check the wipers internals and hood for any real damage next, replace the glass. Missed the 87 Wagoneer XJ by 2 feet, close call!! The WindSld was smashed on the Saturn, direct hit! Lucky it was not a door roof area..... Missed the brand new $80 head light by inches.

May be time for serious tree cutting.
