WOW, I have seen better looking junk in a junk yard!:wave1:

LOL!!!

WTH is that on the driveshaft??????????????????

That is the weirdest thing I've ever seen on a driveshaft. Was that factory? And from what factory? Siberia? LOL

On my end, I greased up most of the ball joints and other zerks I could find before running out of grease in the gun. I sealed up the front axle disco, no seal or gasket at all there. Then I realized that the diff is completely dry. So, I had to mix some leftover synthetic 75W and some normal 80W to get the XJ back on the street. Come winter I'll get it completely swapped to something better

Definitely have a bit of rub going on when turning at low speeds.

Time for a budget boost.

200000 miles. yay.

Pulled my rear sway, PB Blastered the shackle bolts so I can do the budget boost next week, and cleaned the crusty old masking tape off one of my fog lights from the PO painting the front bumper. Also think I figured out why the fog lights arent working... switch appears to be bad.

What kind of budget boost? Need any help?

The Allspark died on me tonight, and this time my Jedi Mind tricks did not revive it.

87 Wagoneer XJ, no spark, CPS is good, so the coil or ICM gave up the ghost. Dissy, cap and rotor are OK. Towed her home, driving a rental for now.

Too many projects all at once. I will swap the coil and ICM this weekend. 87 was my current DD. Three others are under minor repairs, waiting for some cooler weather.:flame:

With 4 needing repairs, and the 5th fixed earlier this week, probably a good thing I do my own service work.

Daystar poly spacers up front, some used shackles for the rear.

Help is nice but I have a crazy schedule. Probably doing it Wednesday

Parts showed up today.

Drove the Jeep to work.. something about the left front is still making me uncomfortable. Not sure if steering, ball joints, or unit bearing.

Drove a Nissan Rental today. Hoping the jeeps I left in the driveway get the message and send the JEEP gremlins packin!!!:D

Rich, looks like you guys and gals had are having a good weekend :) I should have gone with you all. Nice to see Susan got second in the obstacle course!!! I wimped on the Arkansas weekend because of the rain and mud all weekend. Long drive to be miserable all the time.

I'm almost finished with the rear part of the lift... next weekend I'll tackle the front!

thinking of doing my rear lift today, but I'm afraid of the shackles, lol. Here's hoping the bolts turn
