I have a rant:soapbox:. Short story- I received some gears today that I bought off here and are the wrong ratio.
Long story- a few months ago I picked up an 8.8 with 4.10 gears for FREE to swap in to the heap. So I've been looking for a set of d30 4.10 gears. I find a set on craigslist. Call the guy and he also has a carrier and lockright all for ~$250. I say ok and pick them up. Well, they are actually 4.56 gears. I say ohwell, it was still a good deal, maybe I can resell them or maybe I'll regear the 8.8 to 4.56. A couple weeks ago, I see a set of d30 4.10 gears on naxja. I think "great" and offer to buy them. Two weeks later I receive them and low and behold they are 3.73 gears, not 4.10 :flamemad:. WTH!!! can't people freaking count and divide or do some sort of research at all?

BIGSLVRXJ, I'm still waiting for a response but I only emailed him this morning. Pirate has a place to report bad sellers but I guess naxja doesn't. Hopefully he'll give me my money back.

FINALLY finished changing out my prop valve. Took me a week due to the fact that I AM SICK OF WORKING ON IT!
Well for a little while. I had a bad month of trying to get it back together. But now it is doing fine. Time to work out all the kinks I find.

put in a different distributor, and worked on some rear coil retainers and smoked my drill in the process.

I'm sorry...I forgot about this and I just came in from bolting them back in. OD is 3/4". ID I forgot to measure but I'm pretty sure is 1/2".
