what to do with these tires

One of the local guys got a new set of 33s and dropped off the old set of mismatched 31s that were on his new YJ when he bought it. Now I have to figure out how to make a set that will last until the spring, when I hope to have gears and inches to fit 33s

First the easy two Dunlop Radial Rovers, which are going to the dump. The tread is bald on one side from really bad toe-in, and the sidewalls are nearly worn through

The other two Radial Rovers are in really good shape. They aren't new but they are solid and clean

The spare tire was a BFG A/T and it is new. It still has the molding nubs

Meanwhile here is what I'm running now, 225 General Grabber All-Weather tires with a few thousand miles on them

Considering that I don't want to spend much money on short-term use, here are some of my options to get a set together:

--buy another couple of Radial Rovers if I can find them for cheap? I haven't read many positive reviews about them but this would get me a set of 4 matched tires that were clean

--buy another new BFG and pair those with the Dunlops... maybe I can find another spare on the boards

--guy in DE is selling 4 BFG L/T for $50 set maybe go buy those and dump all of these

--junkyard has two BFG A/T for $20 each with less tread than the newer Dunlops, so just throw those on the front with the Dunlops on the rear. this is cheapest and gets me on the road fast

Options for raising operating capital

--sell the new BFG for cash

--sell the rim... anybody know what it is?

--sell my 225s after I figure out the other stuff

I'd go your cheapest option to get you rolling... those two tires.

Sell the BFG AT, the wheel looks like an early TJ Gambler wheel.

Sell the Generals and wheels to a stocker, it'll be a good buy for them since it's a pre balanced combo. May even be able to work in a trade for their wheels if thats an issue.

You might find a buyer for the two Dunlops as well.

I say keep the BFG, buy another one, pair em up with the Radial Rovers if those have enough tread and are comparable in performance/handling (never had Rovers, don't really know how they are)

Sell the rest as spares.

The decision was made for me... I called all of the used tire places and junkyard in the peninsula and only one other set of 31x10.50x15 and those were street tires and overpriced to boot. Craigslist was a bust too--the economy has everybody running their older sets down to bare rubber. So I drove all the way back to the truck junkyard from yesterday and they only had one of the decent BFG tires remaining. Thought about it and decided to just pair it with the brand new BFG, drove back down here and had my Mennonite mechanic mount them all up with one of the bald tires for a spare--$25 for the junkyard BFG and $50 for five tires mounted and balanced so I am set for a while at under $100. I'm gonna keep looking for another "spare" BFG A/T since the tread difference on these two has caused my alignment to be off

I have 2 "spare" 33" Pro Comp MT's that you can have. They are in my back yard, but some minor cleaning and they will work good as "spares". They are at approx. 30-40%.
