Check the weather

Drive slugs.
Change out the break-in oil on the motor, pray for no shiny bits in the oil
Pack tools
Check over trailer
Pack all the warm clothes
Buy all the spotted cow

Get the trailer ready. Change the oil, put the front locker in. Already replaced the exhaust manifold, hatch struts, windshield wipers, ATs for MTs. Load up tools and spare parts and fluids.
Pack my warmest clothes. Get some warm boots.

spent all summer troubleshooting the JKU. Cant figure it out. So I brought it to a shop. Hands are tied until then

Fab exhaust
Change diff fluid
Wire locker switch
Finish brake lines and bleed brakes
Double check all control arm bolts
Reinstall skid plate
Pack spare parts.
