What size socket for NP231 drain & fill bolts?

'91 XJ with NP231-J Tcase.

None of my sockets or wrenches fit the drain/fill bolts on the NP231, so I'm going to go and get a socket. What size is it?

All I know is that 27 is too small, and 36 is too large LOL.

I'm almost positive it's 30mm

Just went out and measured mine with calipers: 30.45mm

That includes a light coating of grunge.

I would say 30 mm is a pretty safe bet.

I live about 35 miles from the nearest store, so I have to know ahead of time what to get.

30mm for the large "bolt" style, 10mm allen for, well, the allen version.

Guessing they changed sometime around the switch from early to late model?
