What shocks have you had luck with?

Sorry I haven't been on lately. Thanks to all for the replies. No I have not taken the Monroe leaking shocks back yet. Was just to busy and kinda wrote them off.

dieselenthusiast - I think you are right on the OME being a performance suspension system more than a lift. Another reason they don't go very high is that OME being based in Australia. Not allowed to lift more than 2.5 or 3" down there from stock height. (from what I am told by an Aussie I know)

I have the UpCountry package on my rig, it even lists it on the build sheet with skids and heavy duty cooling system. However it measures at stock ride height so I know it's tired besides the constant bottoming on the rear bumps. I was thinking about just doing a budget lift up front and OME leafs in the rear, but not sure... maybe I should just save and do the whole OME kit in Heavy duty to do it right.

For OEMR - KYB, Gabriel, Monroe (in that order.)

I haven't tried any of those on a lifted vehicle, but I'd expect that the KYBs (if I could find some that would fit up,) would be fine. Probably Gabriels as well - although I'd be a bit worried about Monroe. (They seem to be fine for stocker replacements, but get a little funny when put in something that isn't OEM anymore.)
