What did you do to your XJ today

pulled both axles out of the rear drained it greased it and put new fluid in it... and its still got a slight whine.

Getting ready for NWfest with some much needed maintenance.

Changed the engine oil&filter, changed the gear oil in both diffs, flushed out the radiator,replaced the blown muffler, and replaced the front brakes.

New shocks. Should've done them before I went to Alaska, probably.

Also got the trailer out and aired out the tent. Taking it to Christmas Valley next weekend, first trip in the trailer since the Thanksgiving TSF trip.

Also put some turnbuckles on the roof rack, hopefully it'll stop sliding sideways now.

Finished my sye and 2 low install... took me a little bit to find the right length driveline, but was finally successful. Also finding out along the way that the top of my case was cracked on the outer half, I scrambled to find another case.... but all I will say is, 2 low has to be the best invention ever for the 231case

installed new radiator, water pump, t stat, hoses, fan clutch, and rad cap. about 4 hours worth of work. locker hopefully goes in on weds or thurs

Today I'm picking up some hardware to replace the stuff that rattled out of my rear upper shock mounts. I'm using locktite this time.

Finally got all unpacked from NWF. Got the Jeep all washed, and as much of the caked on Naches mud off as I could get.

Also got my sliced tire all broken down. Might be time to refresh the bead lock rings.
