What did you do to your XJ today

It's going to hurt the first time i tag these on a rock.

Not as much as if that rock tagged my rocker panels

Had a interesting weekend, changed my starter and still no start. Broke my NSS trying to get it off so now I have a bypassed NSS and back up lights, but it starts and runs again. Ive decided my jeep is a jealous bitch and just wanted some attention...

Stacked it up to feel better :)

I just recently got my 3in lift in with new rear leaf springs...first xj that sits ass up. I have a good question for anyone listening I have a 2001 jeep cherokee with stock 16" rims what is the largest tire i can safely run with little or minimal rub that will still safely fit the rim width wise? I was looking into some tires from treadwright.

31x10.50x16 you may need minimal fender trimming. But they will look good. A lot like mine as mine is also 3in lift.

Got one side cleaned up, just need to do the other side. Wish I had a plasma cutter or some acy/oxeg so I could torch it lol cutting disks on a grinder work but only to a limit lol

Re: What did you do to your XJ today/Deleted my AC

I deleted my Air Conditioning. No doors = no air conditioning required. I just cut the alternator bracket and removed the top threads from the timing cover bolt and got a 59 and 3/8s inch belt. Since I'm going to use an electric fan, I got rid of the whole ac bracket, fan drive and extra pulley. Done! Sorry, I don't know how to post a pic!

That's too bad....... You could've converted your ac pump into an on board air system...

Going to do my best to follow Goatmans, and TORX's concept as best I can.
My current cross member looks like it was ran over by a fleet of dump trucks.
If I'm going to replace, I may as well upgrade.
