Measured my castor at 9* and found the LCA's have worn out bushings. Time for some adj LCA's I guess. It would be nice to get new lifted springs while I'm at it.

Went over to Bronzeyrm place him and his wife are very nice people. he showed me how to use the tire machine to dismount and mount tires. after the first 35" tire took 20mins to get off the wheel we got on a role and got all my tires swapped over to my 15x7.5 aluminum wheels. Have to say thank you again I will haveto get you a case of beer or something when i have some spare change.

we put our heads together trying to figure out how to cut my dom sleeves for the radius arms. final verdict is try and find someone with a plasma close by.

My johnny joints and dom threaded sleeves arrived today also. Im excited once I get the dom cut I hope this swap will pick up some more steam.
thanks again John!

what dom are you cutting 2" .250 wall? its not that hard to cut
and to get it on the arm cut a big slit in it with a grinder and hammer it down on the arm weld it up and then cut some gussets to reinforce the arm at the C

I got cutoff wheels, may take a while but we can give her a shot! ill be having a regrease party on my jeep this weekend if you want to swing by.

Thx adam!
Bronze.

if you use a grinder it makes it wide enough to fit over the webbing in the arm. just cut the arm off straight about 10" from the C and the tube will fit over the center webbing with the slit cut in the tube the slit in it will need to be 9" or 10" long on each side
or if you guys have a trip planned to come up this way i'll cut and weld them for you

awesome advise i will tape the end mark the tap with a sharpie and start doing that I have already cut my arms think i cut them to 9" but still should be enough for a good weld. sounds like you have done this swap before.
I have some grinding discs also

post a pic of how you are cutting it. it should only take 10 min tops per cut for 4 cuts
basically im starting from the top of the pipe and cuting down. but I also have a three year old I have to keep a eye while working. It wasnt 30mins of grinding just 30mins of work. tommorrow if I get out to work on it i should be done with fabing them up.

I wish I could aford it. I was doing this swap on a budget because I needed to
$200 for two ford 9" rear ends and a hp 44 out of a 78 bronco over a year ago
$94 worth of metal
$120 for creeper joints and dom threaded sleeves
$50 for 15x7.5 alluminum wheels 5x5.5
$75 for ford radius arms
so far

Took the rack off and pre-washed it yesterday; finished washing it this morning.
