Nice work! I was going to ask about this weekend but I figured with Easter and Nathan said you have a few things you're working on. I need to start coming up after work.

ya i got 6 jobs parked up here waiting to be done so im trying to get them turned around
but you can come up any time and we can do what we can

Well my friend and I finally got a chance to install the Rubicon Express 3.5" lift kit in the XJ today. Took 10 hours, it's my first time. Tires & wheels still to come. I think I might also have to lower the t-case and do the drivelines.

when i had this kit on mine i had to put a 3/4 coil spacer in the front after it had settled and a 1 inch tcase drop in and it worked great till i put my RE 7.5 long arm kit on.

That's what I was thinking. I bought the T-case lowering kit, just didn't have time to put it in yesterday. I still need to get the braided front brake lines too.

I left it at home.....and drove my new DD to work for a change.
It's a nice feeling knowing that I'm getting 3X the MPG's I used to.

I've been having a couple of small issues with cooling on the Jeep. I've only been driving it a little bit but have noticed it fogs up pretty easy and sometimes I can smell coolant. I have a very small radiator leak at one of the tanks so I always thought that's what I probably smelled. Today I tore into my heater core just to be sure... Looks like it has been leaking.

Put 22 miles on the XJ. (A total of around 300 miles since I bought it)

Word of warning, with those spur gear warns you should use a snatch block for up close personal duty like that. On the
Last layer of cable they only have at the most 2000lbs of pulling power on a single line. Proving the motors still up to snuff. and never never try to pull with the power of the jeep.

i used the chain for some room, i spooled out enought to use the winch power to pull the stump out. i tried befor to pull a car out of the dich. and the brake did not hold. ill stick to spool in, until i can get the stuff to freshen up the winch.

the truck in the back is a 75 chevy stepside. SB400, AT hevy 1/2 ton. he has paid for a respray to RED. including jambs...

Bronze.
