What did you do to your XJ today

I have watched many passenger rear floorboards go up in smoke, simply due to running a Flowmaster without a heatsheild.

Honestly, (and no disrespect here!) You just worsened the problem!
Flowmasters sound good, But they have terrible flow and Create the most heat i have ever seen out of a muffler..

My opinion, of course;)
The Heat shield is coming. Might be this weeks project,

finally got a little motovation and got the plastic rivets needed to install the secondary rain seals on the a pilliar. maybe tomorrow i will drop the tank, double check and sodder wiring then get an alingment

well after years of passengers slamming the passenger door. the hing welds are cracked and letting in water when parked. this morning there was about 3 inches of water in the floor board. (after a week of sitting.) so i grabbed to drill and added a few drains. no more standing water in cab for me. :)

I built a winch mount and got my winch mounted today.

One of these days.....I have a winch thats been sitting in my garage for like 6 months now.... need to get it on the jeep.....Got pics Mnkyboy?

well i started by trying to epoxy a bumper guard tab back on a 2001 xj before i remount it so i can take it down for a pressure test and charge on the new a/c condensor. Then started tearing down the new 2-door, removing carpet and trash: two rust holes in floor, multiple screw holes in floor everywhere, cut up panels for storage? im thinking i need way more money before this is going to be as good as i can see it in my mind. lol

Since I can't go on the Woodland boys snow run tomorrow, I went on my own tonight. Just headed up hwy 6 to Rogers Camp and went up Firebreak One then back down to Timber road then up around Cochran Pond then down the hill via highway 26. There's about 4" of snow at the summit and about 6" up on top of Firebreak One (1700+ feet) There was maybe 5" at Cochran Pond and a bit more between there and Timber.

A little comparison. If you're taking pictures of your rig in the snow, it looks better if you try not to walk in the fresh snow from your rig to where you're taking the picture.

I had to share this one, taken at Highway 26 and Scofield road. This is straight from the camera, no color adjustments at all. This is just from light pollution in Portland.

Sounds like it overheated.
Whats the fluid look like?
If its brownish in color at all, and not nice and red...then you may be looking at a rebuild.
