What did you do to your XJ today

How much up travel will you have after your shocks are installed? I will have more down travel then up I think? I'm not really to that point yet I still need to make mounts at this point whats the hurry since I am taking the front all apart again. :(

Should be right at5.5 inches. Up and all have to re measure after I get my shocks cause im having a hard time finding a 36 in shock that's under 250$ each

I walked past it. looked at it. looked at the trailer it's sitting on. looked at the damage......... Walked inside.

for as much damage that was done.. your actually very lucky.. your out $350-$400 in repairs..

$200 for a trac bar
$50 for uppers
$30 on 2 driveline U-joints
$12 on U-bolt kits.. (if you drill out the stock yokes.. add $40 to buy a yoke)
$70 for 4 Spicer ball joints..

Viola.. your golden Besides sitting for 12 hours.. I envy the simplicity of your situation.. (now that it's home)

Start rounding up the parts, and i'll come over..

Sounds right but you know what they say you wanna play you must pay.
Dont feel bad as much money as Ive dumped in mine I could make a good dent in paying down that national debt. When I get mine done we will have to test them out together, compare setups.

I will be in the snow every possible weekend.. look for the trips in the staging area. I pretty much just wheel in the snow... I can't wait

Seems like I spend most of my time in the snow now also, I figured after leaving Nebraska I would have been done with snow at least I can play the stuff then go home to no snow.

I've been busy all new rear brakes master cylinder. New set of warn premium hubs and drove it through the fire pit, which is a huge hole that was going to be a swiming pool at some point. Oh and rear shocks are in too, and the rear end is welded. Been working on the tow rig too, getting ready for tsf thanksgiving run!!!!

When showing a buddy the damage on my jeep today he pointed out a fairly good sized gash in rear left kevlar sidewall.

Let's see a km2 take that.

Sent from my mind cause I'm so Awesome.

Took off the fender flares to paint them all black, instead of the faded gray that they are.

On my TJ of course, but I can't hang at JeepForum.com, the Northwest section sucks over there, and I couldn't find a NATJA, so I'm sticking with NAXJA even if I don't fit in anymore, haha.

Hey, you and me both.. NWC is full of bastard childs:woohoo:

Got a couple of coats of paint on, front wiring harness is done started the massive amount of welding that I have to do, and decided that im done with the Ferrari welder and bought a cheep one off the tool truck and love it, no more jamming wire. I drove it up the road and back.

Pulled the rear axle out for the last time to weld on the u-bolt eliminator kit.
Orderd a front diff cover, Reid racing knuckels and a high steer arm, 2 steps forward 10 steps backward. I guess now I can pull the front axle back apart.
