What did you do to your XJ today

picked up a pretty nice air brush today. Got some cheap paint and let my daughter play around a bit. Looks like i might have mojo back on the hood afterall :D

less than $30 for airbrush, hose, and 1/2 pint of flat black... not to shabby !

also picked up a cps to try and fix my jeep. didnt fix it. for some reason i have spark but no fuel. got pressure to the rail but injectors are not firing. sideshow came over and helped for a while and its even got him stumped.

I found a few minutes to get started on my Detours Tailbone installation.
Pulled the hitch and bumper, cleaned and painted the crossmember, and got the Detours subframe assembly in.
This thing is built really well and I am pleased with the way it sandwiches the stock crossmember.
Today, I'll cut the stock bumper skin for the recovery points and toss on the swingarm!

Did you try the camshaft position sensor position sensor located in the distributor? It acts just like the cps. It's usually cheaper to buy a whole new distributor than the unit itself which is a little more $$ than the whole thing.

I am always amazed at the conditions you work on your vehicle in. A parking garage spot, man that must suck.

When I was younger I would have happy to have a parking garage spot with a dry concrete floor. I remember back swapping axles and crap in the rain on gravel in my drive way.

A true wheeler will find a way.

This is a good point, thanks. The Camshaft Position Sensor the only sensor we didn't test and I think it directly effects the injectors.

The backbone looks awesome! Love the way the tire sits offset and angled forward. Nice job on the install.

I changed my spring rate in the rear to 170/200 dropped my height to 75" Now I don't have to air it down to get it my 76" garage door :D

pointless photo.
