What did you do to your XJ today

Step up to a larger center pin dia.

I will be when I put a dodge 1500 leaf pack in. That damage was mainly do to pin getting loose, I could feel it on my drive home from NWfest. The new pin I'm using has a thicker nut and I used locktite, so that should help.

Started working to rebuild the Trac-bar end that broke in Liberty..again..
I`m also looking for Ideas on different steering box to use ,I swapped in a 98 box , I don`t think it works as good as my old 91 did .

Swapped out my 231 for a 242. I don't know why though, it hangs so low.

Well its what I did the last week and today but fixed every oil leak on new cheap including the PITA oil filter adapter o rings, oil pan and rear main seal. Gave it a tune up as well now its running tip top. Next "today" project is for my red mustache ride including 4:1 case swap and what goes along with that mess.

I passed emissions! party1:

Normally it wouldn't be a big deal, but when you're pushing 265K you start to worry about things. :D

I'd be worried more about your transmission, how have you not killed that thing?

cause he drives like a sissy :shhh:

How you like the ride with those? I've definitly noticed an improvement...

I haven't driven it, My Jeep is in pieces right now.

I love mine, but they were a PITA to get everything to line up

yeah the side I have a picture of took 30 minutes, the otherside I've been working on for 3 days and have not gotten it to line up correctly. I'm pretty much going to cut most of the existing shackle box out tonight, I'm behind on my get to the PNW M&G schedule.

Yikes, guess I was lucky that mine only took three hours for the two of em.

my shackle boxon the pass side is pretty messed up. I didn't put enough relief cuts in it before bending, so the relocation bracket isn't seating right. I'll fix it with a dremil tonight.
