I washed it. haha
why? even powder coating them makes no sense. if the rig is wheeled you WILL scratch the sliders and bumper and rhino lining and power coating WILL chip and crack. just a waste in $$. buy some cheap spray paint. then when you scratch them up touch up is simple and easy! hahaha
what if you already just have some laying around like me? i wouldn't think its a waste of money....

I'm speaking from experience. I powder coated my bumper. Brushed against a tree and the powder coating cracked.
I respect your opinion but paint is still just paint. Powder coating is much more durable, and a can of touch up paint fixes any scratches, and they make exact color matched cans for like 5 bucks. Anything is going to get scratched but since I take a certain since of pride in my XJ in how nice it looks even though I wheel it, I still want the best finish and the longest lasting option out there for my circumstances, but this thread is about what you did to your XJ and not what you should do.
Oh yeah to stay on topic, I'm replacing all the grade 8 hardware on the steering with new so I have spares. Also going to start drawing up ideas for a rear cargo storage area since I plan to take the spare off the roof rack. A pain in the you know what when you have to drag a 35" tire off the rack of a 6.5" lifted XJ when your only 5' 7"![]()

YesYou know speaking of that can you fit a 33 in just the back without droping the back seat and see also?
