What did you do to your XJ today

Installed the Boostworks tcase shifter, installed the JCR sheet metal console support, rebuilt a driveshaft, and rewired some lights. She's getting driveable again, I'm looking forward to doing some wheeling this year.

I have done nothing to mine. Its been a sad week with one more to go. Had to travel for work and my project sits in the garage half way through the motor swap. So only have to finish that. Do the WJ brake upgrade and crossover steering. Install the new longarm and I'm done. I think I need a few snickers bars.

Wait, what? There are other Canadians here??
A few of us sneak about.

As for my beasty, just been driving her, giving her the odd whipping. Replaced the rear tube flare I ripped off 2 and some weeks ago.
Ripped off by a big stump cause I was too stupid to mount it properly the first time.

And back on, mounted properly with the right hardware, also remounted the pass side front and rears properly, still have to replace the hardware on the front driver side yet.

A little wrinkled now, but adds some extra character.
Still need to install the boostwerks shift linkage, my old stock linkage rattles so much now I keep thinking my front shaft is going to explode.

Stopped fixing and let her out for a rip.

Sounds like the last few months for me.

Grounds, this sensor, that sensor, some wiring, plugs, etc....

Now what injectors should I order?

Finished this off this morning.

Got a new Mopar Denso unit from ebay for 151 shipped.

First step, swap the pullys, the XJ pulley is smaller and one less rib.

Pull that busted plastic batter box and throw it in the recycling bin.

Pull old alternator off. take bracket over to the bigger beefier alternator and address the size difference.

Perfect. I had some left over rust proof silver paint I hit it with afterwards.

This part they dont talk about in some of the write ups but was necessary and a huge pain.

Orientate the grinder from top and bottom and open it up.

Grind Grind, check grind a little more and it bolts right in like the stock one.

I had all new HD wiring in there so it fit right on the new post and no problems there. on my 2000 the plug just went right in no problem too.

It lives. I am always surprised how tight you have to make the belt on the 4.0,
