What did you do to your XJ today

Lol never! I've been looking at some cragar soft 8s. I am about to purchase some duratracs later this spring. And I know the whole non member thing... hasta
 
I bought the front axle shaft seals to so I can replace the carrier and axle shafts in prep for mabe a tard fest 2.0 run at TSF feb 14-17. any takers for a run that weekend??
 
well today I found another track bar about ready to fall off so replaced that and tighted it all up again. also checked the t-case fluid it was low so filled it up. drove it to work. had vibes so checked the rear driveline looks like the rear ujoint is toast.
 
Been trying to figure out why I was having slight heat problems, I think when I did a flush on my heater core, I didn't have enough coolant or a trapped air bubble because after adding more and squishing the hoses, I'm running at normal temp again which makes me happy lol

Also did a long look at my second axle and I think I might have bought a bent axle :(

Driver side C looks like its Brent but the knuckle turns with no binding?

I don't know if its my eyes playing tricks but it looks like the tubing is bent?

Ran some trails in the Trask area, it's nice to mix things up a bit, a figured out my to-do list for the week (tie rod ends and a track bar bolt)

Hit some trails with it yesterday for the second time in two weeks.
Just TSF, but still....
Feels good to wheel it again.

said ujoint blew up lost my driveline on the way home from work.

Yup.
92warwagon has it right now, but he lives 3 blocks from me, so getting it back wont be an issue.
I'll grab it tonight.
Would you be able to come out and get it?

I'll just go with SpecFab's suggestion. Sounds a lot easier than going clear out to Gresham.

No worries, the only reason I come clear out here is cuz I live here.
If Orielys Auto has theirs rented out, lemme know.... you're still welcome to come grab it. Or... (if you can wait) we can meet up on the west side during the week.

You looking for a new knuckle man? Remember you said your knuckle was stripped on the brake caliper and that nasty gash where the calipers sit. I'm junking my axle as I've confirmed it's bent but the knuckles are good. Could give it to ya for a few bucks or trade. Let me know.
