What did you do to your XJ today

Changed unit bearing and axle u-joints.... Fun times on the u-joints lol I'm now down 2 c-clamps lol got rid of the drone/vibes when I turned left. My jeep is eerily quiet now lol

This was what they looked like

It was safe to say they needed changing lol

On Saturday, with the much appreciated assist from 92Warwagon, I swapped out the 18 month old motor mounts for some temporary replacements. (new oem)
Virtually every single parts store (around my area) has the same motor mounts, just packaged in different boxes. Napa, Oriely's, Knechts, Autozone...all the same.
Same markings, same "made in Korea" stamp as my last ones had, looked the same felt the same, smelled the same, even tasted the same.
I finally found a store that not only didn't mind me licking the mounts, but had some that were different than all the rest.
Sourced at CarQuest, $17ea.

Here's what the old passenger side looked like:

And here's what they both looked like

We'll see if the Chinese can make a better mount than the Koreans.
Wait, I take that back, these aren't going to be in there long enough to determine that, once the Brown Dog's come in, these will become spares.

Once you go Brown Dog you will not need spares. Ask me how I know.

Oh yea.
I figure the brow dogs will be the last motor mounts I'll ever have to by (for this Jeep).
I'll have em on hand in case someone else breaks.
In 2013 I wheeled with or heard of too many Jeeps having to limp down off the trail with a busted mount. If I can whip one out and get somebody back ON the trail, then that's a win win in my book.

Finally pressure washed it off after the hangover trip to Brown's.
I still haven't washed the grime off from the Turkey Day Run!
(i know, I'm a slacker)
...but hey, when you only drive your Jeep once or twice a month, whats the use?!

spent yesterday trying to get a 98 xj running it cranks with no spark. replaced cps and cam postions sensor and re-did battery terminals check grounds. replaced cap rotor and tested coil. only thing i can think of it might be a is the ecm/ecu ideas and suggestions would be great. also if someone has a ecm i could borrow to swap and test might be great before we spend alot on one.

You say you tested the coil, is the spark coming from the coil blue or Orange?

If its orange the coil is faulty. My nephew's XJ just had the same problem as yours. It was the coil.
