O yea!

Looks good!!! Now you just need to wider stance, to match the bushwhackers
... it's like you're daring me to buy new tires for the wheels I got stashed in the garage. :eeks1:
opinions: the jcr guards have sevral "breaks" in them to make the conture rather than a roll. should i:
1: try to smoth them out with while block sanding? it will take away some of the lines from the break. make it looked more rolled OR
2: Block the Break lines like body lines. it will give a stright edge look to the break lines.
i cant decide. probably guna be sanding them out tomorow.

You doing the cut and fold on the lower quarters too?did a little chop and whack. started with the bumper. i wanted to see how it felt cutting on the rear half of the xj. felt good, i will continue tomorow

I rocked the trimmed bumper for awhile. Looks good!

I wouldn't cut and fold unless you have frame stiffeners, its just not a good idea. There are alot of spot welds your going to be cutting right in the leaf spring area. I want to do this mod but need to make sure things get reinforced first. Just my .02 cents.
good point J. ill have to look at things from a geometric standpoint when i get back down there. never thaught about it from that perspective.
thx

Dont get me wrong its a great mod, just dont want to weaken your uni-body, once you cut you cant go back. Your Jeep is really clean do it once and do it right. If you do a search on here there have been quite a few write ups on this, with several diffrent opinions, but get under there and look at how many spot welds your going to cut threw then make your own desicion. Thats what I did and that why mine is still stock, for now.
catch you later Jasoneace:
