It should scoot along pretty good, the RD has basically an air cooled Banshee engine in it.

If you want that thing to scoot real good, you need to talk to Arlen the owner of LED. (Former owner founder of LRD performance) He can build some bad ass shit for road racing. But, if you want all out whip lash drag racing power! Dave Moore, owner of DMR in Salem is the drag race king.

As far as performance the plan besides the usual jetting and such is to get an electronic ignition to delete the points and a set of expansion chamber pipes and call it good.

Well, I broke out the rolling house this weekend. Checked all the fluids, filled the gas, propane and water tanks. Checked and aired up the tires, loaded it with food,cloths and everything else that will be needed for its first trip of the season.

This week I'll be washing/waxing it. I'm so glad it's only 28' long.

I'm running a 28spl evenrude

I'm in talks with a guy right now at a local outboard shop and I might be training it in for a short shaft 40.. We will see.

HP dosent bring speed
Pitch of the prop dose
But it takes HP to get on plain with a big pitch prop
I have the fastest prop for my outboard I can get.
