I just towed my XJ from Houston to Colorado and back with my 2005 Silverado diesel. No issues at all. Barely even noticed the Raton Pass.

Just picked this baby up, 2001 Winnebago journey 32t 275 hp cummins with an Allison.

Test fit for a trip next week.

2016 Ford Expedition. The EcoBoost engine is amazing. Other than slightly less bottom end power over the 5.0 V-8 we had in out 2014 F150 you don't know it's a V-6. It has the same tow rating as our F150 had at 9200 lbs on V-5 hitch and came with the brake controller installed. Haven't towed anything heavier than my 20 ft bay boat which is 3200 lbs total on trailer but it didn't even seem to feel it back there. Of course my F350 I had was better but you can't compare a 7.3 Powerstroke diesel to the 3.5 EcoBoost.

09 Chevy 5.3 6l80e 3.73 gears it moved my gfs dd on the heavy uhaul quite well. I wish the trailer was a bit longer so I could have gotten the load positioned better.

But it did 70 the whole way you could tell it was loaded but it went quite well.

I did, but the XJ being towed was just a shell and axles. No engine or transmission. I wouldn't tow a built XJ with another one that way though.
