What are you doing to your rig - the continuing saga

OOOOOHHHHH ya! All vibrations are gone! Other then the fact that the poly bushings vibrate the HELL out of the jeep at idle! It is getting better after driving it around a little more!

Were both sides like that?

My drivers side was trashed like yours, but the passenger side was fine.
here is my drivers side mount...

huh... :wierd:

wonder why its always the drivers side that gets chewed up?

Heat from the header hovering right above it dries 'em out, coupled with the fact that when you gas it, the engine torques up and to the pass. side.

Selling my arb bumper. Replace with T&T front winch bumper.
This should remove around 3 to 400 lbs. Not sure on the exact weight difference.

Um, ARB bumper with a winch weighs less than 300 lbs. I'd guess just over 200 lbs. Where did you get the idea an ARB bumper weighs 500 lbs. Just over 100 at most. I have installed one. With the winch attached it did take two of us plus the guy with the wrench to do it.

Removing my Warn did not remove 3-400lbs. But it did remove at least 200 lbs. But Warn bumpers without winches are between 200-300 lbs. I assume the same with ARB. I asked Warn curious if there would be a weight difference between a Warn and a Fessybuilt steel bumper. there was a 100 lbs difference. But the Fessybuilt was still over 100 lbs.
I went back to stock, which was probably less than 10 lbs. Installed it myself it was so light compared to other bumpers.
His ARB weights between 200-300 lbs with or without a winch. Probably closer to 300 lbs with winch.

Gave the big bastard a paint job over the weekend. I'm finishing up painting some crap tonight, but it's 99% done. Turned out pretty cool I think.

HA I wish i could run 42's....if only

Nice. im just under that, think ill be pretty happy with it. Yours seems to look better at that length

I think you'll like it. I thought about stretching it a tad more to 108-109 but so far the 106 is working out great.

took er for a spin around the hod today. need a better shock mounting idea. they popped right off the last one. need to get some fresh gas in, spray underneath down, and finish cleaning things up/painting. Otherwise she is under her own power. Feels damn good. and very weird lol
