WF Swap Meet

like right now......

not sure if I mentioned it but I have a few sets of stock 96-down tail lights if anyone is interested in trail spares.

I also have some D35 (c-clip style, not bolt in) axle shafts if anyone needs some trail spares on those as well.

If all things go according to plan, I'll have swapped out my 8.25 27-Spline with a 29 spline. I just may tote the whole axle []==O==[] with me. We'll see though.

I can add to my list... Got an Aussie to throw in the D30.
Edit: Guess I should have paid closer attention to which thread I was posting in. This locker is NOT up for the swap meet.

you're about 2 hour and half away from me (from 60561)

I am looking for a better rear end to replace my D-35 BEFORE the WF

$20 plus gas for meet half way? lol

I broke my pass side tail light on my 95' so that should fix that! $5? :D

I have a spare D-35 complete (it needs brake hardwares then its good to go or just gut the hardwares out of your bad axle into its backplate)

and a D-35 with 3.55 welded locked with some truss (not fancy but its something) thats in my XJ right now that I'd want to get rid of when i upgrade soon.

both D35s are for free to grab.

Also I have a set of D35 axle shafts as spare for free. I will bring them as spare in case somebody else breaks theirs.

I have a 1995 XJ with 142,xxx miles on the clock.
-4.0
-AW-4
-D-30 (nondisco)
-8.25c (likely a 27 splines as its a 95')
-Base model but have a A/C that works a little, may need a recharge

recent work

-APN header
-new oxygen sensor
-new exhaust pipe and muffler from where the catalystic converter originally was to tip
-AW-4 drained/refill (have filter to go with when you finish drain/fill to clear up the fluid)
-engine have newer spark plugs
-recent oil and filter change
-heater core valve bypassed
-coolant drained/refill
-new front clip and right fender (with parts from junk yard)
-new u-joints in front axle
-new t-case rear output seal

the good
-it starts right up and drive very powerful
-trans and t-case shifts just great
-good tire treads
-all doors and glass are in good shape
-rust-free rockers
-interior looks OK for its age

the bad
-rotted floor panels
-rust a little on front left fender
-front and rear bumper smashed (not me! from PO)
-need spark plug wires as they arcs on near by metals as ground but still runs great(no big deal)
-radio head unit's FUBAR

the worst part about this jeep is...
-NO TITLE! *faceplam* (I MIGHT can get a title but right now theres no title at time being, so you will have to tow it) but it wont be a issue if you want a jeep to be a trail rig/trailer queen.

I am not in hurry to get rid of it, just a feeler. I may build it up and hit the trails with it along with my another XJ

$800

I'll take the non-molested D35. I may not be attending but some club members are for sure. i'm sure we'd load up the trussed one for a spare if no-one else wants it.

thanks.

if anybody has a hack n` tap laying around i need one.

if not ill just buy a new one

FYI the "non-trussed" D35 have welds on the tube to pumkin. I used it to practice welding cast to mild steel. it seem still to be straight and turn freely so I think it will do you fine.

Just take them. If nobody take them I will put them by the street for the Mexicans to pick them up for scrap metal
