We're moving

For those of you who don't yet know, Michaelle and I have sold our house. It's not something we wanted to do, but it was brought on by necessity. My business failed late last year and Michaelle was recently laid off. Having no income puts us in a dangerous situation and we felt that we would be better off selling our house now, rather than wait until we were forced into the same choice, but in a position not of our choosing.

So, we're moving on. Where exactly, we don't know. We do know that with the housing market in California being what it is, we might not be able to buy another affordable home here, so we've decided to move out of state.

We are selling everything in our house but the memories so that we can travel light. We'll pack what we can into our motorhome and put into storage some cherished possessions that we'll come back to retrieve once we've found a new home.

Our email addresses will be different. Our home phone number will be disconnected as of June 30th. Here's how you can reach us:

We will miss you all very, very much.

Andy & Michaelle

p.s. We're having a garage sale on Saturday and Sunday, June 25th & 26th. We need some help in moving the stuff out of the house and garage those mornings. If you're available to lend a hand, we really need some help.

Utah is an extremely economical state to move to. Good employment choices and very reasonable housing. Takes some time to get use to, but all in all, it's a nice state.

Oh yeah, we have MOAB!

Andy, Sorry to hear of the misfortune. I am currently laid off myself and am planning in starting a business with a friend. If not, we would probably be leaving the state as well, as you mentioned once you sell it is darn near impossible to buy back in.
Mater of fact I just talked to my family back home in Colorado and they said they are seeing alot of work coming to town, most of it from Cali. Makes me want to go now. Good luck in whatever you decide to pursue.

Andy, think of it as an opportunity, not a problem. Take a road trip! Being unemployed and homeless was the best 4 months of my life. If you have only lived in SoCal it would be good to see what the rest of the country looks like anyways.

I'll second that!

Colorado. Beautiful, lots of wheelin, decent weather, cheap homes, and tons of wheelin. Moab is only a few hours away. I am moving to Castle Rock in a few months myself (30min South of Denver). Good luck!!

Andy, I know that everytime in my life that I had to make a huge change even if I really did not want to... it always seems to turn out for the best.... And then after a very short time I look back and say, " Man O Man...why did I not do that years ago". I am sure that everrything will work out for the best and I know you guys will do well no matter where you move. Take care, good luck, but for dang sure stay in touch. later...clint
