I got only one bite on the XJ...
So I'm keeping it. :P

Looks like this is going to be a 15th birthday gift for my nephiew.

Picked up a HP/30 this afternoon, and installed a set of adjustable RE upper and lower arms. Kinda nice being able to just go pick them up from the shop in Rancho.

The new axle is in the rig now, and it's on four tires! Gonna have to figure out how to get the track bar working now, the stock arm does not like the new coils at all!

Welcome back! how was the trip!

I spent the weekend on the Jeep. got the 30 in, just need to get the lower link on the pass side bolted up. I got the engine all back together, found the autozone page with all the torque specifications I needed to put the head back on, and the intake/exhaust manifolds..

I took a trip to the Automall Jeep dealer, and got a nice hookup on parts! Motor mounts, heater valve, hoses etc.. got 20% off just by asking if I got a deal for some random reason! Cool eh?

I need to put the coils in the front, need a spring compressor really bad. the RE coils are long, and without an engine in the Jeep, I can't compress them enough with the links attached to the axle. :) Spent a couple hours trying to figure that one out..

I think I'm still gonna get that 44 in the front end, but for now, the hp/30 will just have to do. I really don't want to spend 400 bucks + on the buckets and mounts to make it work with the linkages I've got now. I guess if I had coilovers....hmmm...

Anyhow, I have a vacation day tomorrow. call me! we'll get that POS chebby moving better too!
